Why do you have love swings in your rooms?

For the same reason we have great quality beds with the finest Egyptian Cotton bedding, the same reason we have over-sized baths, the same reason we provide free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, the same reason we provide a range of 16 quality coffees and 12 organic teas to our guests at all times, the same reason we provide a range of fruits, snacks, and chocolate bars to our guests at all times.

We provide the swings in some of our rooms, for the reason that some of our guests love to have access to it.  For those who want to use it, it’s very popular : If you don’t want to use it, it’s hidden in a plain large box under the bed and you never need to open it or use it.  Similarly, if you don’t like coffee, you don’t have to drink coffee just because it’s there.

Apparently some of our leisure travellers when celebrating a night away from their kids, or celebrating their wedding night, or celebrating their anniversary, sometimes have sex behind the closed doors of their hotel room.

Supporting their decision to do this, by providing beds, baths, carpets, walls, a lockable room door, etc. does not make us unusual from any other hotel or accommodation provider.  The discreet swings are just a popular addition that many of our leisure travellers like to make use of, on occasion.

The artwork we have is just that.. artwork. It is not obscene, nor pornographic, nor ‘top shelf’. It is not a representation of anything else going on.

The majority of our artwork is just quality photography, prints, sculpture, paintings and drawings, typically produced in by professional full time artists in the last 10 years or so.
