We’re often asked who our typical guests are, here at Hotel de Vie, Farnham.  However, this isn’t such a simple question to answer:

Typically, during the week, around 85% of our guests are in the area on business (sales meetings, managers visiting their local offices, travelling through the area, etc.)

And then at weekends, we’re typically 95% leisure travellers (people looking to get some time away from their kids, a romantic weekend, a celebration, anniversary, birthday, etc.)

We also host functions for exclusive use of the hotel, such as wedding celebrations, engagement parties, training courses, workshops, and the occasional wake.

Our guests are generally all very nice people, successful in what they do, from a wide variety of backgrounds, from all over the world.

Most recently for example (in the last few weeks), I can recall just some of our overseas guests have travelled from the UAE, Italy, Russia, Serbia, NZ, Malta, Romania, Germany, Spain, France, …

Our guests also fill a wide variety of job roles, from engineers, private jet pilots, military officers, doctors, auditors, finance directors, designers, entrepreneurs, business managers, sales people, actors, film crew, musicians, master chefs, cake decorators, entertainers, writers, artists, corporate trainers, oil industry executives, event managers, … to name but a few!

We always try to welcome our guests as individuals, getting to know people by first names where we can.  We try to provide a friendly yet professional atmosphere, more than a home from home, a place our guests choose to come back to again and again.
